Safety 101
What to look for when choosing a hard hat or Cap.
- Does the hat protect you from the hazards of the job? (eg. high voltages)
- Does the headband fit? (The hat or cap should stay on while you bend over. Yet it should not be so tight that the band leaves marks on your forehead.)
- Is an adjustable chin-strap necessary?
- Does the hat feel too heavy? if so, try another brand.
- if doubt, ask a qualified person to check the fit.
